Progress!

Well, I don't have any pictures to post, but I wanted to report in that I've made progress in my scrapbooking! I have hubby's pictures, grade cards, certificates, etc from his childhood and have started getting them scrapped.

The project is large and I'm not quite sure how I'm going to proceed but I figure I'll take baby-steps and make it up as I go along. It started w/a big sorting of pictures. I have them all into groups, labeled and in file folders. Then I've made a pretty generic file flow chart, but it should help me stay on track and get it done.

Today I worked on school pictures. The layout contains all the professional shots taken throughout his school years. Simple. The other 1/2 of the layout is a big paper pocket that holds all his grade cards, progress reports, certificates, ribbons and a paper he wrote. I'd love to dedicate more pages to all of this, but if I did, the scrapbook would turn into scrapbooks. I'm hoping to keep the entire book to about 60 pages if I can. I can fit that into one book easily.

I'm trying to jot down all the events I've scrapped for GQ and what I have left to do so I'm caught up. I don't want to print pics I already put in the book. So I'll be printing pics soon to get pages for him started. I also have some birthday cards and Father's Day cards to work on...lots to keep me busy!

Pictures will follow soon!
