One sketch, two layouts...

I had a minor surgery this past week that made me cancel plans for two different crops this week. I'm supposed to be laying on the couch, resting and not lifting anything more than 10 pounds. It's quite the recoop for a mole removal. But I'm sore and listening to doctor's orders...for the most part. :D

Since I couldn't attend the crops and GQ hit the hay early last night I was able to do a couple pages. No heavy lifting; I just gathered some paper, a few embellies and my cutter. A crop would require me packing up a large carrier but scrapping at home is lighter duty.

Pencil Lines always has some great sketches for inspiration. I used sketch 98 as my inspiration and built two different layouts off it. It feels great to get some pictures into the scrapbook and out of the To Scrap: pile. I stuck to my challenge of using my scraps for layouts. The only 12x12 pieces of paper used here are the bases, everything else is from the scrap stash!

Enjoy!
