he melts my heart...

This morning, at school drop-off, I hugged and kissed my little bug good-bye.  As I walked away, he called out "mom!" and flashed me the American Sign Language "I love you."  I flashed it right back and walked off with a big smile on my face!  G.Q doesn't know it, but that "I love you" meant so much; morning drop-offs at school haven't always been the easiest, that sign told me he was good and wasn't sad about going to school.  It meant the world to me and it melted my heart.

I feel your pain and that totally melted my heart!!! I used to get teary-eyed every time I watched Braydons bus pull away...it is hard being a mom and spending every waking moment with someone then watching them grow and move on to the next phase without you :( Let's just hope they remember how much we loved them when we need them to take care of us...lol

Very cool! Keep on showing him your gifts as a mom and he'll surprise you!
