Summer Shoes and Birthday Wishes...

30 pretty toes and three really cool pairs of flip-flops. Our family is all about the flip-flops for summer...and in the spring and fall too! This year GQ is finally old enough to have a pair of real flops without the strap across the back and they look like daddy's...everything has to be just like daddy these days. The colors on this layout are some of my favorite color combo...blue and green. I had a hard time getting the colors to look their true color in the photo without the colors of our skin looking a little off. So my feet and GQ's feet look a bit redder than they actually are.

Our little cousin, Camryn, is turning three in a few days and we wanted to send her a card since we don't live close enough to stop by. I found this little Elzybell stamp I thought was just adorable and fitting for a birthday card for an adorable little girl. I bought a couple purple Copic markers and some craft cardstock and decided to break them both in on this card. I really like the simplicity of this card, although it was hard for me to stop and not add something more...I have to work on my more is not always better technique :D
