Lots of new in our life right now...

We've had a busy time in the last month. It seems like things have calmed down but I think we're just getting used to being busy. GQ is playing soccer that now has us up early on Saturday mornings (he's quite the soccer super-star!) I miss lazy Saturday mornings but watching him play is so much fun!

We've also decided to remain living in the south and buy a house. No more renting...we're going to have a place of our own again in about a month. So we've been busy with all that home buying entails...all the docs for a mortgage, inspections, appraisals, etc. It's been interesting for us because they do things slightly different down here in SC. We don't have a title company that you let handle everything, we hire an attorney and coordinate things with them. It's still not too difficult, it's just one more thing we had to choose instead of going w/whatever title company the real estate company generally uses. It's all worth it in the end, but keeping track of what's going on, where we are in the process and what I have to do to get this house ready to move is time consuming!

Because our move is in the near future, I won't be doing much crafting until we move. I've actually packed my crafty closet up into boxes. The exciting news is that in my new house, I have my very own craft room...that's right, my very own CRAFT ROOM! So excited...I'm sort of planning things out in my head. I have a trip to Ikea all planned out (should probably let hubby in on some of the details!) So a month or two in a box will be totally worth it when I have a whole room to spread out and use.

So no crafty pictures for a while, but I had GQ's pictures taken for his 5th birthday and will share those soon...
