Ali posted a layout she had made of her and her sweet baby girl and I LOVED it! I couldn't wait to do something with that piece of inspiration. Today I found something to do with it...

I love this card! Sympathy cards don't usually come so easily for me, but this one did. It's clean and crisp and pretty. Thank you Ali for such a beautiful inspiration piece!
I used PSE to print my sentiment along with a beautiful poem my very talented husband wrote on the inside cover. This is the first time I've used PSE on a card...I think I like it and will continue to use it for cards!
I'm also continuing to use papers from my scraps stash. The butterflies were punched from some small pieces of patterned-paper I had laying. The blue cardstock was donated to me from my wonderful friend Scheffie. I stopped to visit her in Cincinnati and she gave me a large box of all her cardstock and patterned-paper scraps. How awesome is that?

I love Ali's stuff too - so simple, yet so beautiful. This card is lovely
Oh, now, these are just beautiful. I need to get some of those butterflies. I have like 900 sympathy cards that need to be made and I can't bring myself to make them. Awesome idea.
