We've had a lot going on in the past month...a move, visitors, a trip up to Ohio to visit friends and family (to see my dad who is recovering from major surgery) and then a call back to Ohio for an ill family member. I've sort of lost track of the day and even month we were in...it was all a very stressful time.
Sadly the last part of our stay in Ohio included my grandfather passing away and planning his funeral. I was very close to my grandpa and haven't taken this very easily but it gets better each day. My little bug, GQ, got to know and love my grandpa in four short years which was very important to me. They just loved each other and grandpa certainly got a kick out of GQ! We miss you grandpa!
Our flight home to SC wasn't stress free...cutting it close to check-in times, long lines at a generally low-traffic airport, running (ok, walking quickly) to gates to be the last on the plane, zero time to make a connection...but we're home and I'm so going to love my comfy bed tonight! I'm hoping that after a few days of laundry and cleaning I'll be back to making some cards and scrapbooking. I've missed it and I need to do it, I have lots of cards to get made! Stay tuned...
Lastly, I'm going to share w/you a picture of a cute library tote I bought for GQ. Putting his books in my purse was too much. I'm going to make him haul his own books around. Maybe he'll reconsider checking out so many at one time. :D I found the tote on etsy by Earth-n-Works. It's so cute! Be sure to check out her shop if you're in need of a cute tote!
Have a good one!

Awww, it's great that GQ had the chance of knowing his Great Grandpa! I'm sure Grandpa enjoyed every minute with you guys. You know I'm so sorry about his passing Tonya. :-(
Thanks ladies!
We have tons of great memories with grandpa, so lots of good things to look back on. Couldn't have asked for a better man!
Been thinking about you Tonya. Welcome home and I can't wait to catch up now that we're almost neighbors!
