for the bride...

I just love the way this card turned out. It's simple and pretty. I love the chocolate brown and kraft cardstock combination! The hanger and dress are two separate images; I had to stamp the dress and mask it to then stamp the hanger to make it look like the dress was actually hanging from it. I don't mask images often so I was pretty happy with how this turned out.

I colored my image with Copic markers and gave the bodice a little sparkle with my Copic Spica marker. It still needed something so I added some dimension with Hero Arts pearls. Finally I tied it with some pretty choclate ribbon that I have and it was done. I love it and I hope the bride loves it!

thank you ladies! I enjoyed making it. I really wish I had time every day to make cards like these. It's so fun working with several different elements.

I do need to invest in some tweezers. I think I spent 1/2 the time chasing pearls on the paper and getting them placed correctly...next thing you know I'll be needing reading glasses, too! That will make me officially old! LOL!
