Dominic's Donation Project: Pages for Preemies

My wonderfully kind and generous friend, Karie, has created a program that donates 12x12 baby-themed scrapbook pages to the NICU at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Karie decided to initiate this program after her son, Dominic, was born seven weeks pre-mature and spent over two weeks in the NICU at Good Sam Hospital.

So many parents with children in NICU don’t get to touch, hold, kiss or sadly, bring their baby home; a pre-made scrapbook page allowing them to slip a picture of their precious little one is perfect. Parents can hang it on their baby’s crib/incubator and eventually take it home with them to place in a scrapbook or frame.

Karie continues making these scrapbook pages but has asked for friends, family other scrap bookers that would like to help out to make a page or two and send to her. She will be dropping off scrapbook pages to Good Sam NICU on a monthly basis. Karie has lots of page protectors to place pages in, but if you’d like to donate that also, it’s much appreciated. Pages can be made for either girls or boys. Remember that lots of babies in NICU are multiples, so that’s another idea.

If you’re interested in helping Karie out with this wonderful project or have any questions, please email me via the To Contact Me section at the right.

What an awesome project! I am so glad you are able to support it! I wish I scrapped because it is a great cause.

My newphew was born 5 weeks premature and spent 10 days in the NICU at UK.

It is close to my heart.
