I was so pumped when I logged onto my mommies message board and found a mommy wanting to get rid of three iron & wicker dressers. I knew they would be perfect in my scrap room...ok, scrap room-to-be since I don't officially have it yet. But that is a requirement on our list of things for our new house!
So GQ and I head off this afternoon to run errands, including picking up my new dressers. I was going to add 11 drawers of storage to my space! So excited! Finally, punches and sparkles and ribbons and cutting tools will all have a home of their own! We get home and get the dressers into my scraproom/toy room and I begin arranging furniture and filling drawers and so does GQ! While I was filling the smaller two with my goodies, GQ was filling the biggest dresser with puzzles and balls and electronic games and board games...
It was so cute to see him going through his toys putting them away (I've been trying to convince him for over a year that he CAN pick-up after himself, but he swears he's not fast enough!) I guess he thought this furniture was worthy enough to house his toys. Since he was being such a big boy helping clean the toy part of the room, including making to donate pile, I decided that I would let him borrow my furniture to house his toys for a while. But when I get my very own scrapping room I'm taking it back! Who sounds like the 3.5 year old now? LOL!

The two nigh-standish pieces on either side of my desk are packed full of crafting goodies. And the taller dresser is the one I've loaned to the kiddo. I have big plans for it though.. :D

Oh I feel your joy! I love organizing all my stuff ... and I don't blame you one bit for taking your storage back when you can!!! :)
You are a better Mommy than I am. I gave my kids ONE drawer in my dresser (in my craft room) and they can only store their craft supplies in it. LOL!
ummm.... no pictures?
I just love organizing :-) It is my crack ;-)
