Age...it's just a number!

I recently added some colors to my Copic marker collection and wanted to give them a try. I'm getting enough colors that I can shade, highlight and blend. I have lots of learning and practice to do, but here is one of my firsts... Stella! She's so cute and I really love her hair and the sort of depth I was able to give it by blending colors.

More practice coloring pictures coming soon...

Home Sweet Home!

Aren't those little houses, tree and birdhouses adorable? I fell in love with this Nikki Silvis paper the moment I saw it! I love the colors and thought those house couldn't be cuter. The houses are actually the flip side of the green-treed patterned paper. I adhered them to cardstock to give a little more weight and then cut them out so I could add with dimensionals. I love it!

Butterfly Kisses

My great friend, Jenny, let me borrow this gorgeous picture of her daughter so I could create this page. Thank you Jenny! This page is an inspiration/idea page to be displayed at our local scrapbook store. It's highlighting the butterfly spray stamp by Stamps on Fire and ways to use stamping in scrapbooking.

I embossed the stamped image with holographic embossing powder. I cut one out to give some dimension. Then added some 3-D butterflies I created with my punch and added some Stickle sparkle.

cardstock: Core Color, Prism
patterned paper: My Minds Eye - Coastal Comfort Cuddle Dots
stamp: Stamps on Fire - 2026l
