Black, White & Limeade!

A new favorite color combo of mine. I was feeling inspired by the color combo I used on some invitations I posted a week or two ago and I had to get a gift made, so I came up w/these two cards. Jason even commented on how he liked the colors and the design.

After I was home with my paper to make these babies I was browsing my regular websites and noticed at 1craftygal's blog that she put together a card w/a very similar color combo. Great minds think alike! :) Check out her blog if you have time, lots of very creative and cool card designs, it's one of my favorites! The link is listed in my favorite stops on the web. I'd add it right in the body of this post, but I don't know how to do it.

A couple more scrapbook pages

Here is the layout that I used my frog paper on. I bought the paper with no idea how I would use it, I just thought it was too cute not to buy. I really love how this page turned out. I got the layout idea from a sketches book.

The soccer page is something I came up with on my own. I didn't have too many great soccer pictures because I was on the field with Gavin for the class, so I couldn't snap pictures while I was watching to make sure he was following the coaches directions. And the little guy is pretty fast; makes it hard to snap a non-blurry picture!

Little froggies!

They are just too cute. I think my favorite stamp and papers have frogs on them. I found some paper that has embosses frogs all over it. I used it on a nice scrapbook page for Gavin (I should post it) and then I used some leftover for a card. I cut two of the frogs out and used pop-dots for a little 3-D action and the inside of the card is stamped w/a little frog and says Hoppy for you!

My original tri-fold design...

that inspired my invite with bling. I made this for a friend's party. The party is a surprise so the important info is masked just incase... This was the first time I did a tri-fold card and really like the way it turned out. And I think my favorite part about this card, other than the layout, is the color scheme. I just love black and white and I love green; the three combined are a new favorite for me!

Invite with a little bling...

An invitation that I made for a little cousin's first birthday. It's a tri-fold invite. I scanned it to try and show how it looks as you open each flap. The tri-fold is nice because it allows a lot of info on a little invitation. I'm proud to say that I personally wrote the little poem on the first inside flap :) The funny white boxes are where I blocked out personal information or times and dates...wouldn't want a crowd of hundreds showing up for a party meant for 15 :)

Some scrapbook pages I did last night

It was mommy's night out last night and I took a trip w/my girlfriend to Archiver's for a crop. I got everything on my list accomplished and was pretty proud of my creations. Here are two pages that I made. Hope you like...

I promise, I'll have some more cards on here soon.
